Why We Exist: Solving the "First-Mover" Dilemma
Cryptocurrency solved direct value transfer between parties across borders, but introduced a permanent risk: blockchain transactions are mathematically final and irreversible. For high-value domain name sales, OTC digital asset trades, contract milestones, and private marketplace purchases, every deal creates the same deadlock: who takes the risk of releasing first?
We eliminate counterparty risk. The buyer deposits digital assets into an isolated, segregated escrow wallet; our compliance desk verifies the transaction on-chain; the seller delivers the agreed assets; and funds are disbursed only once delivery is inspected and approved.
Leadership & Governance
Our operational controls, dispute arbitration, and fund security are led by experienced professionals in legal compliance, double-entry accounting, and digital asset security:
-
Alexander Wright — Managing Director & Co-Founder
Oversees corporate strategy, operational integrity, and key institutional settlements. Former fintech risk architect with extensive background in automated clearing systems and digital property transfers. -
Marcus Vance — Head of Compliance & MLRO
Leads our Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorist Financing (CFT), and Know-Your-Customer (KYC) operations. Responsible for FATF Travel Rule compliance, blockchain heuristics/taint screening, and liaison with regulatory authorities. -
Sarah Jenkins — Data Protection Officer (DPO) & Legal Counsel
Directs platform adherence to global data protection standards (EU/UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA) and oversees commercial contract enforceability and dispute mediation frameworks.
How Your Funds Are Protected
- Human Verification on Every Movement: Automated scripts never release funds. Every inbound deposit is checked for block depth and wallet taint by human operators, and every payout transaction hash is manually cross-signed and recorded.
- Double-Entry Append-Only Ledger: Every satoshi, wei, and cent is tracked via immutable double-entry ledger entries enforced at the database layer. Debits and credits must balance to zero; records cannot be modified or deleted.
- Dual-Authorization Thresholds: Large transactions exceeding standard thresholds require independent superadministrator multi-sign off before release execution.
- Published, Transparent Rules: Our full Master Escrow Agreement, Privacy Policy, and AML Compliance Manual are publicly available and legally binding.
What We Are Not
We do not operate as an exchange, a fractional reserve bank, a lending desk, or a yield protocol. We never commingle operating company funds with client escrow deposits, and we never deploy escrowed assets into third-party yield or liquidity pools. Escrowed assets remain strictly isolated for the lifecycle of each transaction.
